SIM Does Nothing When Printing Tickets with No Default Printer (Doc ID 2913761.1)

Symptoms

When the user is not selected the printer then print tickets from Handheld, there's no error and no request is sent to BIP/External System.
The proper feedback/appearance is required to notify the user when the user is not select the printer.

Steps:

  1. Set No Default Printer at Print Format at handheld device.
  2. Select Ticket Printing > Manual Print > Scan Barcode > Qty: 1 > Print
  3. No error appearance on the handheld UI either no response on the Soap request *No notification/error of the print is appeared to the user.

If the user selected a printer at first in the same steps, Soap reply properly.

Workaround available: To configure the default printer for all types of ticket print formats.
