P6 Web Resource Spread View Does Not Show the Hours Correctly for a Timesheet Updated via Web Services (Doc ID 2918932.1)

Symptoms

ACTUAL BEHAVIOR

After entering time in a Resource's timesheets via Web Services, the Total Hours for the Resource are increasing correctly, but when looking at the Resource spread, the hours are not the same.

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR

Resource spread hours should match up with approved Timesheet hours

 

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Apply work hours to an activity via Web Services and submit the timesheet for Approval.
  2. Login to P6 Web using an account with Approval privileges.
  3. On the Approvals > Timesheets view, approve the submitted timesheet. (Notice hours are spread properly).
  4. Go to Projects > EPS and open the project containing that activity.
  5. In the Activities view, click Actions > Apply Actuals.
  6. In Projects > EPS click Actions > Summarize Projects.
  7. In Projects > Assignments highlight the Resource who submitted the timesheet.
  8. Note the Actual Units are not spread correctly.
