Quantity in Process is Set to 0 After Auto Release Completion (Doc ID 2919557.1)

Goal

After auto release completion, Quantity in Process is set to 0 and Implemented Quantity is increased.

Steps:

1.Ensure Production check box for the plan is checked.
NAV: Advanced Supply Chain Planning (R) / Supply Chain Plan / Name - Choose plan name and ensure Production check box is checked.
2.Run the plan
NAV: Advanced Supply Chain Planning (R) / Supply Chain Plan / Launch - Choose plan name and submit request.
3.Wait for Request Auto-Release Planned Orders(MSCAPO) completion.
4.Navigate to Supply form and show Quantity in Process field and Implemented Quantity field.
NAV: Advanced Supply Chain Planning (R) / Supply Chain Plan / Workbench - right click on the plan and select Supply and Demand > Supply
Query some planned orders - select Release Properties tab - (M)Folder > Show Field - select Quantity in Process (Perform same steps for Implemented Quantity)

Before upgrading to 12.2 from 11i, Quantity in Process shows released quantity.
Is this an intended behavior?
