Query Related to Bulk Picking (BP) (Doc ID 2920842.1)

Last updated on JUNE 19, 2024

Applies to:

Oracle Retail Warehouse Management System - Version 15.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

After applying patch 30086593, if BP pick is generated for PTS without child labels associated to the pick to container label, then container status of the picked container for BP pick remains in 'P' status and cannot be used for PTS picking.

Steps To Recreate:

1. Create two stock orders with 50 units each to different stores with the same item.
  1.1 stock order A: item 1, store 1 50 units
  1.2 stock order B: item 1, store 2 50 units

2. Create a container with the item 1 with 100 units and move it to reserve.

3. Distribute stock order A to the Wave 1.

4. Distribute stock order B to the Wave 2.

5. You should have CP, U picks for Wave 1 and BP, U picks for Wave 2. For Wave 2 , there should be no child case labels - just one pick to label master should be generated.

6. Complete BP pick and drop it off to PTS area.

7. Check container status of the picked container which was just dropped off. Notice that it is still set to P.

Business Impact: U picks from PTS cannot be completed from the completed BP pick which was dropped off.
