Planned order not split among suppliers according to Sourcing Rule Allocation Percentages in an ASCP unconstrained Plan (Doc ID 292335.1)

Last updated on FEBRUARY 22, 2024

Applies to:

Oracle Advanced Supply Chain Planning - Version 11.5.9 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

1.In an unconstrained plan, planned orders are not split to various suppliers as per the allocation percentages specified in the sourcing rule definition.
2.Though the expected behavior is that the planned order should be sourced from the different suppliers as per the allocation percentages, the planned order is completely getting sourced from the rank 1 supplier with the highest allocation percentage.
3.If the plan is run for a longer horizon, only for the initial few dates, the orders are not getting sourced correctly. However rest of the planned orders, which are more in the future are correctly getting split.
