Alert "Your security privileges have been changed by an administrator while you were offline" When Logging in to P6 (Doc ID 2935370.1)

Symptoms

When attempting to login P6 Professional (trying to go online after being offline), the following Alert occurs.

Your security privileges have been changed by an administrator while you were offline.  To go online and maintain your changes:

1. Export all the projects you have been working in since you were last online.
2. Reinitialize your local cache for this Cloud Connect database.
3. Reconnect to the Cloud Connect database.
4. Import the projects you exported.

 

This issue can be reproduced at will using the following steps:

  1. Login to P6 Professional in Offline mode.
  2. Change the Responsible Manager for a non-cached project from the server-based database.
  3. Select File > Work Online from the menu.
  4. The P6 Professional login page appears.
  5. Click Connect.
  6. The reported alert is displayed.
