Symptoms
Unable to select the correct Network Location in the Equipment Inventory Search window (w_equipinstall_query) using the basic search function when there are records with duplicate CLLI_CODE values listed in the Network Location drop-down list box.
Recreation Steps
1. Inventory Management.
2. Equipment Inventory.
3. Enter duplicate CLLI_CODE example for the Network Location.
* Note its value pair in the drop-down representing Network Location (CLLI_CODE) and Location (LOCATION_NAME).
4. Select the row and note the Location value for the LOCATION_NAME changed.
5. Click Search and note there is no equipment installed at the location.
6. Click the "spy glass" icon to the right of the Location field to open the Location Search window (w_clli_or_location_query).
7. Use criteria below and click Search.
- Network Location radio button selected
- Network Location: LIKE {CLLI_CODE}%
- Country: United States
- Format: Search across all Address Formats" then click Search.
8. Note two rows retrieved. Often, the location name differs, but sometimes they are the same and there address data may be slightly different.
