Use the different font using SETFNT function in dal but the field font not changing

Users are using Field inside Table in overflow section and using dal to set the values and they need to set the different font(Bold font) for few fields based on xml value. Users tried using SETFNT function through dal and it's not setting the font as per their expectation. Users need to use Table because of the background shade need to be adjusted based on field value(extend or shrinking).  

Requirement:
Print the overflow few fields based on xml tag have condition for print the field as bold. (Y)
Also print the fields with blue shade. (They achieved this using Table in section but it's causing the SETFNT not to work)
