Oracle Clincal Reports End Up with 'RS_SUBMITFAILED' - '321300: Submit Failed' Error. (Doc ID 2939689.1)

Symptoms

When submitting an Admin Reference Codelist report within Oracle Clinical application , below error is thrown:

'321300: Submit Failed'

 

Executing below command in CMD on the Application Server, it was noticed that the report server was not visible over the network:

<ORACLE_HOME>\user_projects\domains\FRDomain\reports\bin\rwdiag.bat -findall

Changes

 Recent upgrade from OC/RDC 5.2.1 to OC/RDC 5.4 was done.

 When upgrading the reports server , at Oracle Universal Installer question -> 'No' option was selected :

e.g.:

"Do you want to create Report Server Component?"
- If you select Yes, a new report server will be created, and you must provide a new name for the report server.
- If you select No, provide the existing reports server name. The existing reports server will be deleted and then recreated.

and Report Server upgrade failed with:

Below error was displayed within reportsComponents.log:

"Yes" option was selected this time and new report server name was provided.
