PDC Slow Search Using Glid

Symptoms
On Pricing Design Center 12.0.0.5.0 environment which has a big number of GLID entries (~18000), when in Edit screen for a charge and writing some digits in GLID box in order to narow down the search, it takes very long time (5-6 minutes) for PDC to return filtered list of GLIDs so one will be able to select the final value.
No error is logged in Weblogic Server logs during this time.
The below query is mentioned in AWR report covering problem reproduction as consuming most CPU time and it also has a very big number of executions despite only one charge was edited during that time interval:
