'Event Code PRMDB-4044-0' When Attempting to Import an XER File into P6 Professional Connected to a Standalone SQLite Database (Doc ID 2949267.1)

Symptoms

When attempting to import an XER project file in P6 Professional connected to a new empty standalone SQLite database, the following error occurs.

Event Code: PRMDB-4044-0
Message:   PRM DBAccess Error: SQLite-UNIQUE constraint failed:   UDFVALUE.UDF_TYPE_ID, UDFVALUE.FK_ID

 

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Import the XER file into a new empty standalone SQLite database.
  2. Rename the imported project to a new name.
  3. Import the same XER once again but change the Action for Resources from Keep Existing to Update Existing.
  4. The new import fails with the reported error.
