BP Designs Restricting Downloading/Printing an Attachment Not Honored Through Preview (Doc ID 2950456.1)

Symptoms

ACTUAL BEHAVIOR

Business Process (BP) designs restricting downloading/printing Attachments are not honored by the Preview function.

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR

Restrictions on downloading/printing an attachment should apply to the Preview function as well.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Open a BP record that has restrictions set against downloading attachments.
  2. Select the Attachments tab.
  3. Select the PDF attachment.
  4. Maximize the browser window by clicking the square icon at the top right corner of the window.
  5. The PDF attachment opens in the browser window with the download and print buttons enabled, instead of an un-downloadable image of the attachment.
