Role Screen - RolePercent Field Is Updated To Null Without Change (Doc ID 2951831.1)

On : version, Role Information

Following an upgrade form v.10 to v11.3.0.x, when the RoleField Value is updated on the RoleScreen for the Owner/Payee Role
the RolePercent Value is updated to Null or to the RolePercent of the Role selected. This same config worked under the previous v10.
Disbursement tab on Disbursement Transaction is not generated when Financial Transaction is processed after RoleScreen update.
Frequency depends on the RoleScreen update. 20+ such cases were found in dec2022 alone

RolePercent should not change from front-end as the field is disabled for Owner/Payee Role.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Create a New Payee Role on any Contract.
2. Add Role Address for the Payee Client.
3. The RolePercent for Payee Role in the db is 100%.
4. Update the RoleStartDate or select rolefield RoleAddress.
5. Click outside of the RoleDetails page or click on the RolePercent of another role and hit save button.
6. Observe the RolePercent of Payee Role is updated as Null or to the RolePercent of the Role selected.
7. Role History tab shows RolePercent is updated as null from 1 when RoleStartDate is changed.
