Clarifications On Nodeselector Configuration For Cloud Native Setup (Doc ID 2952124.1)

Goal

One wants to know more about nodeselector configuration in cloud native (CN) setup for Elastic Charging Engine (ECE).

Currently one can see that the nodeselector option is present for DiameterGateway (DGW) pod and monitoringAgent components. Below questions arise in this context:

1. What are the advantages and disadvantages of nodeSelector for DiameterGateway and monitoringAgent. For production system, should one be using nodeselector or not?
2. Why this configuration is present only for these two pods and not for others?
3. If one does not configure node affinity for DGW and if one pod is used for DGW instead of two pods with multiple replicas without any node affinity, is this recommended?
