Error: "Test Failed" When Testing Outbound Connection in Configurator When Connecting to Microsoft Office365 Email Server (Doc ID 2953045.1)

When testing Outbound Connection from the Unifier Configurator where the SMTP server is MS Office365, the test fails with the message below.


"Test Failed"

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Open the Unifier Configurator
  2. Navigate to the Email tab
  3.  Add in necessary information for the outbound email server
  4. Click on Test Outbound Connection.
