Why is Blinding Status Not Updated Within Case After Study Configuration Changes Study Type? (Doc ID 2953768.1)

Goal

Why is the 'Blind Status' not saved and cannot be updated within the case after the Study Type is Updated within the Study Configuration?

STEPS TO REPRODUCE

-Create a Study
-Create a Case using the Study

Example:
Study1
Study Type - Not Blinded
Blinding Status = Not Blinded

-Save Case.
General Tab | Study Information reflects
Study ID- Study1
Study Type- Not Blinded.
Blinding Status-Not Blinded

-Update the study type configuration:
Example:
Argus Console | Studies Configuration
Updated 'Study1'
Study Type Updated from 'Not Blinded to 'Double Blinded'
Save.

-Open the case
-Reselect the Study from the General Tab.
Within the Clinical Trial Selection screen the study now reflects the updated Study Type.
ie.
Double Blinded.

-Reselect the 'Study1' and the General Tab | Study Information populates with:
Study ID- Study1
Study Type- Double Blinded.
Blinding Status-Blinded

-Save the case.
The Blinding Status is refreshed to the older value and now shows:
Study ID- Study1
Study Type- Double Blinded.
Blinding Status- Not Blinded

If you try to update the value of the Blinding Status using the provided LOV, the following message is returned.
Case can not be returned to a blinded state.
