Performance Issue with Import of Agile Database Schema Dmp, agile9impdp Process Stuck at: Processing object type SCHEMA_EXPORT/TABLE/INDEX/DOMAIN_INDEX/INDEX (Doc ID 2959998.1)

Symptoms

Performance of the import of Agile database schema is very slow. For example, it is taking more than 20 hours, where it used to take 8-9 hours.


The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. On the target instance, launch command line, and navigate to Agile database maintenance directory {Oracle_Base}\admin\{SID}\create\agile.
  2. Run agile9impdp utility.
  3. Let the import running.
  4. Check the log generated in the command line. See its stuck at below line for very long time:
    Processing object type SCHEMA_EXPORT/TABLE/INDEX/DOMAIN_INDEX/INDEX

Changes

The value of the parameter configured in agile9impdp.par file was changed.
