Symptoms

After login to Oracle Clinical the following error is displayed when user tries to access any menu item:


27922: Fatal Error: Could not set role



The error persists after the password for database role RXCLIN_MOD was reset and encrypted using set_pwd command as indicated in <Note 175273.1>

Additional symptoms:

  • Executing set_pwd returns a warning:
