Error "Integrator key / Client Secret / Token combination is not correct" Occurs Periodically, and the DocuSign Token Must Be Regenerated Each Time (Doc ID 2961547.1)

Symptoms

A DocuSign token must be regenerated periodically when the following error occurs:

Integrator key / Client Secret / Token combination is not correct.

Something similar to the following error can also be seen in the unifier.log file:

####unifier_log <date-time stamp> <D> #t<[ACTIVE] ExecuteThread: '14' for queue: 'weblogic.kernel.Default (self-tuning)'>
#x<[...]> #z<> #c<skire.dm.esign.docusign.DocusignConnection> Error Code:400; Error Message:{"error":"invalid_grant","error_description":"expired_client_token"}

 The issue can be reproduced at will using the following steps:

  1. In Unifier select Edit > Company > E-Signatures.
  2. Click Test Connection.
  3. Note the reported error.
