Goal
The goal of this article is to explain how to raise an error for the the following two scenarios with the tier-based pricing rule.
1. If Health Plan uses the tier-based pricing rule type but is not setup with the Subscription Tier Structure characteristic, the pricing calculation process does not error. It goes ahead and creates a $0.00 billable charge.
2. If Health Plan uses the tier-based pricing rule type and has the the Subscription Tier Structure characteristic, but there is no corresponding rate for the derived subscription tier, pricing calculation process does not error. It create s a $0.00 billable charge.
