Quantity-Based Product Purchases When the Bundle Is Configured With Extend Mode (Doc ID 2966842.1)

Last updated on AUGUST 21, 2023

Applies to:

Oracle Communications Billing and Revenue Management - Version 12.0.0.8.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

The quantity in the purchase_deal input is not considered for a rating on repurchasing the same product.

Here are the steps for reproducing the issue:

  1. Create an account and purchase a product with 7 days validity in extend mode.
  2. Repurchase the product again in extend mode but with a quantity of more than 1.

Result:
The quantity passed in the input is not considered for rating.

Here is a sample test case (based on the above-mentioned steps):

1. Create and load a pricelist with a product with 7 days validity in extend mode or use the pricelist from "SAMPLE_OFFER" regression

loadpricelist -f -v -c SAMPLE_OFFER.xml

2. Create an account and purchase the product and the balance will be 100
3. Purchase the product with quantity 3 from the customer centre.
4. Observe the balance becomes 200, while the expected balance is 400 (100 + 3*100).
