Goal

On all versions of Oracle Communications Network Charging and Control (OCNCC or NCC) and Oracle Communications Convergent Charging Controller (OC3C or 3C), the Advanced Control Services (ACS) Feature Nodes (FNs) that can trigger an announcement to be played to a caller (and optionally collect input for future service logic decision making) can only play a single announcement per FN.

The playAnnouncement (pA) and promptAndCollectUserInformation (pACUI) operations can both support a list of elementary message IDs to chain announcements.

This article will explain a way to potentially work around this.
