Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

 On : 5.1.0.0.0 version, ENV - Environment

The billable charge character is not getting added to the billable charge character table when using the business service C1-BILLCHARGE. The billable charge is getting created but the character is not stamped on that billable charge.

IWS Service Name: CM_BCHG_SVC
Business Service: C1-BILLCHARGE

When creating a billable charge using the above-mentioned business service, it is inserting data for CI_BILL_CHG, CI_BCHG_SQ, CI_B_CHG_LINE, and CI_BILL_CHG_K table based on XML request data provided to this service call. In this request field,  data is passed for CI_BILL_CHG_CHAR table too but the service is not able to create a Billable charge character. It does not encounter any error in service call execution and it creates the remaining node of this service but not for CI_BILL_CHG_CHAR.
