Symptoms

When attempting to import XLSX, the following error occurs.

ERROR

ERROR: Column xxx_date: Invalid value or data type mismatch. Discarding the value

STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Import a Excel XLSX containing the date field values.
  2. The import fails with above error.
