RAR Triggered After Topup Purchase In Current Session Led To USU Consumption From A New Topup Bucket (Doc ID 2969278.1)

ACTUAL BEHAVIOR

Reauthorization Request (RAR) triggered after Topup purchase in current session led to Used Service Units (USU) consumption from a new topup bucket

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR

Expectation is to consume the USU received after RAR from the bucket/balance from which Granted Service Unit (GSU) was granted

NOTE:

Customer consuming data in Throttled speed and did Topup to consume data in High speed in the same running session, Now a RAR is generated by ECE which is after the valid_from of new topup balance. Due to this, next CCR-U coming immediately after RAR with some USU is impacting new topup bucket instead of consuming from throttle speed bucket which is not correct.

STEPS

Example -

1. Customer consuming data from Throttle speed.
2. Here Topup bucket validity start: 18-01-2023 14:39:10
3. RAR from ECE triggered : Jan 18 14:39:12
4. CCR-U received after RAR at : Jan 18 14:39:12 with used-units : 32983438 (Throttle speed data).
 
Above 32983438 bytes is throttled speed data. Since topup bucket validty start from 14:39:10 and above session event time : 14:39:12 USU 32983438 bytes consumed from topup bucket instead from throttle speed bucket from which this GSU was granted in previous CCR-U.
