Goal

Question 1: With subs_disable_74_backdated_validations is disabled=0, backdate purchase is failing with incorrect error checking message: Backdating is not allowed before service effective date.

Steps:
- On Aug 4, take an existing account [account created on Apr 1, 2021]
- On Aug 4, purchase new deal, backdate to 34 day [01-Jul-23] (2937600/24/60/60=34)

Actual result: Backdating is not allowed before service effective date.

Expected result: There should be no error.

Question 2: The customer is using Out of Box (OOB) Customer Center to make a backdated purchase, Customer Center calls PCM_OP_CUST_MODIFY_CUSTOMER which is also an OOB opcode.
What is the workaround to do a backdated purchase with a service on the steps described in question 1?
