Unifier Android App: Business Process Filters Are Not Working in Online or Offline Mode When Language Preference Is Portuguese (Doc ID 2981142.1)

Last updated on NOVEMBER 16, 2023

Applies to:

Primavera Unifier - Version 22.12.1.0 to 22.12.8.0 [Release 22.12]
Primavera Unifier Cloud Service - Version 22.12 to 22.12.8.0 [Release 22.12]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

When using version 23.8.1 of the Unifier Android app and with the device language preference set to Portuguese, the "Filters" used to sort Business Process (BP) records by field values is not displaying only filtered values when in Online or Offline mode. This BP Filter feature works correctly if the Android device language preference is English, or when using the iOS version of the Unifier mobile app with any language preference setting.

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR
------------------------------
When attempting to filter BP records by a couple of different data elements, only those records meeting the filter criteria should be displayed.

STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. With language preference set to Portuguese on the mobile device, log into Unifier mobile app for Android, version 23.8.1.
  2. Navigate to Workspace > Data Synchronization > "Synchronization completed successfully" > User is "Online" > BP1 > Filter > DataElement1 contains SearchCriteria1 > Done.
  3. The application is displaying records that match SearchCriteria1, but there are also many other records displayed that do not match the SearchCriteria1 data.
  4. Go to Offline Mode.
  5. Repeat step 3 above.
  6. Note that the application is still displaying records that match SearchCriteria1, but there are also many other records displayed that do not match the SearchCriteria1 data.
  7. Log out of the Android device > Set the language preference to English > Log back into Unifier.
  8. Repeat step 3 above when offline or online.
  9. Note that the application is now displaying ONLY those BP records that match the SearchCriteria1 data.
  10. Log out of the Android device and log into Unifier with an iOS Device where the language preference is Portuguese and the same version of the Unifier mobile application.
  11. Repeat Step 3 above.
  12. Note that the application is displaying ONLY those BP records that match the SearchCriteria1 data.
