Item Master- Catch Weight Pack Unable To Add Secondary Supplier (Doc ID 2981555.1)

Goal

When adding the secondary supplier for approved pack catch weight item , cost UOM is defaulted to EA whereas expectation is to have KG.

This is working for unapproved items, but for approved item when supplier added, cost UOM can only be EA.

Steps to recreate:

  1. System should have Simple pack item with component having Weight item i.e. Catch weight item.
  2. Add secondary supplier to component item.
  3. Add secondary supplier to Pack item
  4. Notice that supplier is added with COST UOM EA and not KG. When user try to change error pop up stating dimension must be setup. Expected result - System should allow the user to change the COST UOM, else advise the process to change COST UOM to KG.
