EBS-PS: PS Solver Doesn't Schedule Operations Setup With Firm Start Date Constraint on Firm Start Date When Fixed Timefence Days Is Defined For the Resources (Doc ID 2981681.1)

Symptoms

In PS application, work order operations setup with firm start date constraints are not scheduled on firm start date when the corresponding resource is defined with fixed timefence days.

Steps:

  1. Routing RTG is setup with multiple operations.
  2. Navigate to work order editor form and select a work order for an item ITM that uses routing RTG.
  3. Navigate to operations tab and set 'firm start' constraint for the second operation and set the firm start date.
  4. Go to Bill of Resources tab and select the resource planned on the second operation.
  5. Right click on the resource, click on properties and availability tab.
  6. Set the fixed timefence days to 30 days and save.
  7. Solve the PS model.
  8. Check the work order in work order editor form and observe the second operation is not scheduled on the firm start date constraint defined.
