Get/Add File Is Not Working with Agile PLM After Web Client URL Is Changed, Gets "Error" In the File Uploader Window (Doc ID 2983272.1)

Symptoms

Migrated Agile Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) system from Server A to Server B.
Have installed and setup Agile PLM on Server B, and file add/get operation is working by accessing to Agile Web Client with the URL of Server B.
Now the user wants to access to the Agile with the same URL used when accessed to Server A, so the remapping of IP address and the host name was done and now when accessed to URL of Server A, it connects to Agile installed on Server B.
User can now access to Web Client using the URL of Server A, and access to Agile installed on Server B.
However, when attempting to add/get file from Web Client, it fails with "Error" in File Uploader window.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Access to Web Client using the URL of server A: [http(s)://{server_A_hostname}.{domain_name}:{port}/Agile/PLMServlet], and login.
  2. Open an object, go to Attachment tab, and add a file.
  3. Gets "Error" in the File Uploader screen.



Changes

Remapped the IP address and the server name.
