MCAD SolidEdge Connector Does Not Load Family Table Assemblies (.xas) File Extension, Error: MultiCAD Is Not Enabled (Doc ID 2987716.1)

Symptoms

When performing Load to CAD on a Family Table assembly instance, the MCAD SolidEdge connector does not recognize the .xas extension. The following error is seen:

Error Message:
XXXXXXXXXX.xas Source CAD Unknown not loaded.
Load C:\_workspace\test\XXXXXXXXXX.ASM
MultiCAD is not enabled.
XXXXXXXXXX.ASM Source CAD SolidEdge not loaded.
Load ready.


Steps to reproduce:

  1. Log into Agile PLM.
  2. From Agile, search for a file with ".xas" extension.
  3. Select the file and click on Actions > Load to CAD.
  4. From Agile Load preview, create a new workspace.
  5. Select Load in CAD.
  6. Notice the error.
