Testing the ICCP “GetNameList” Service with the Live Energy Connect RTI Server (Doc ID 2990550.1)

Last updated on DECEMBER 01, 2023

Applies to:

Oracle Utilities Live Energy Connect - Version 7.0.0.0.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

The GetNameList service is the service that allows one VCC (i.e. LEC) to retrieve a list of available ICCP points in an ICCP domain on a peer VCC (i.e. your SCADA) over an active ICCP association.

If you have LEC V6 or V7 running and have an active ICCP association, you could use the Variable Access tool in the Configuration Manager as described below to make a call to the service.

NOTE: You may want to set logging levels to 2 and the ICCP logging "Virtual Device" set to the remote VCC name.

Recommend doing this first in a non-production environment if you have not tested it before.
