Symptoms
On:
Oracle Communications Convergence version 3.0.3.3.0 and 3.0.3.4.0
Some localized characters (mostly Thai) that are present in the message body are getting replaced with Replacement Character (Unicode Hex Character Code “”) when such messages are accessed on the Convergence/webmail client.
The problematic characters sometimes differ when the same email is viewed on different systems or browsers on the same machine. There are instances where a particular character appears in two different places within the email: where one is displayed normally, while the other is replaced with ""
