Symptoms

When attempting to fetch the Period Actual Units value from a ReadResourceAssignmentSpread Operation using JAVA code via P6 EPPM Web Services, the following error occurs.

DefaultValidationEventHandler: [ERROR]: unexpected element (uri:"http://xmlns.oracle.com/Primavera/P6/WS/Spread/V1", local:"PeriodActualUnits")

 

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Use Web Services to fetch the Period Actual Units from the ReadResourceAssignmentSpread Operation in Spread Service.
  2. Target Namespace: http://xmlns.oracle.com/Primavera/P6/WS/Spread/V1.
  3. Note the reported error.
