Symptoms

Issue -
Issue for Vector Math rule where error is encountered -

“There is no variable defined with name V1. Col5;IV1*#V1” error when Conditional Vector Formula is configured and V1 is set to a Factor.

 

Steps-

1. Create Device, Device Configuration, Interval Measuring Component and install the device.
2. Create measurements on the Measuring Component.
3. Create Vector Math Usage Rule and configure to select above Measuring Component and formula as follows – Factor having “FV” in its name:
4. Create Usage subscription and associate above created service point and usage subscription.
5. Create Usage Transaction for measurements period.
6. Notice that Usage Transaction is failing with “There is no variable defined with name V1.Col5;IV1*#V1”
