After Database Upgrade To 19c, the MDP_ADD Procedure Runs for a Long Time (Doc ID 3001725.1)

Symptoms

Before upgrade, MDP_ADD procedure completed under 4–5 hours.

However, after upgrading Demantra from 12.2.5 to 12.2.6.3 version in combination with the Database upgrade to 19c, the procedure ran more than twenty-four hours.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Upgrade Demantra to 12.2.6.3 and upgrade the Database to 19c
2. Load new data into Demantra via loading staging tables from EBS
3. Run workflows : Load items, Load Locations ,Load Sales data
4. Procedure step “MDP_ADD” takes long time to complete


Changes

Upgrade Demantra to 12.2.6.3 (or any higher version)
Upgrade Database to 19c
