Applies to:
Oracle Communications MetaSolv Solution - Version 6.3.1 and laterInformation in this document applies to any platform.
Symptoms
When attempting to add equipment in the Equipment Inventory window (w_equipinstall_maint) to 'Under Construction' parent equipment being installed using an Engineering Work Order, the Work Order Number displayed in the pop-up message is '0' which is incorrect. It should be the actual Work Order Number. The behavior only occurs when the Work Order Number contains a non-numeric character. For example, the Work Order Number is 'MSS631B788' yet the pop-message displays '0'.
The image below shows the Engineering Work Order's Work Order Number is 'MSS631B788'.
