(Doc ID 3005579.1)
Last updated on FEBRUARY 23, 2024
Applies to:
Oracle Communications BRM - Elastic Charging Engine - Version 12.0.0.8.0 and laterInformation in this document applies to any platform.
Symptoms
The issue is regarding setting (Subscription Permanent Identifier) SUPI Range in Network Repository Function (NRF).
Scenario:
- The user has setup two different ranges (non-continuous) of SUPI.
For Example:
4401000000000000 - 4401000000000999
4409000000000100 - 4409000000001999 - Note that user cannot configure one single range [4401000000000000 - 4409000000001999] as it is a part of the mobile virtual network operator (MVNO).
- User configured the following parameters via JCONSOLE as:
supiRangeListStart="4401000000000000,4409000000000100"
supiRangeListEnd="4401000000000999,4409000000001999" - Now issue is that while Charging Function (CHF) sends a request towards NRF for Registration, it sends as:
<supiRangeList
{
start: 4401000000000000,4409000000000100
end: 4401000000000999,4409000000001999
}/> - Since supiRangeList is an Array as mentioned by the specifications, the user expects the following format:
<supiRangeList
{
start: 4401000000000000
end: 4401000000000999
}
{
start: 4409000000000100
end: 4409000000001999
}/>
