Pricelist Closer Scenario With End Date

Symptoms
On ORMB v5.0.0.0.0, Pricelist Closer Issue with End Date.
We have a request to close a price list with end date = 12/31/2023.
To close the price list, we have marked all the Pricelist price item assignment with end date =12/31/2024.
But we are not able to update the end date of one of the price item assignments which is in "Inactive" status.
Because of this issue we are not able update the pricelist end date to 12/31/20203.
STEPS
-------------
1. Mark any Pricelist price item assignment as inactive and make its end date as blank
2. Try to add end date for same pricelist
- System should allow you to add end date
