On : 2.9.0.0.0 version, Installation and Patching
Batch thread is stuck in pending when the batch is submitted with invalid parameters.
Have a custom batch that has a logic with invalid parameter checking. If it is populated with incorrect parameters, it will raise an error on the batch run tree.
Currently, when tried to run the batch with invalid parameter via batch job submission, the run tree created an instance with in progress status but the batch run tree is in pending status.
This was encountered on the following out of the box programs - SGG, Plugin generic, Plugin upload and Plugin extract.
Last working run of the invalid parameter checking of the custom batch was 12/15/2023
