On : 16.0.3 version, Other
SAPREEXP needs to be multi-threaded, With number of stores, number of ReSA Totals and number of systems to which ReSA data (i.e totals) are exported, the SAPREEXP program can process upwards of 30,000 store/day/export records which then will process 200+ totals for updating of export information. Since SAPREEXP is single threaded, it can take 45 - 60 minutes to run. Since the driving cursor is obtaining STORE_DAY_SEQ_NO, it would be easy to implement threading by store (i.e. V_RESTART_STORE) so that this batch can be threaded and finish in a few minutes.
