Report Type of LAM (Local Affiilliate Module) Case Is Changed to Null (Doc ID 3010575.1)

Last updated on APRIL 12, 2024

Applies to:

Oracle Life Sciences Argus Safety - Version 8.2.3.1 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

The report type of a LAM (Local Affiliate Module) case is changed to null.  The audit trail shows that a user has made the change, but the user claims they did not set it to null.  Nor should it be possible to set the Report Type to null.

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Create a LAM event/case and select a valid Report Type from the Report Type LOV.
  2. Change the Report Type to "xxx" (or any value not in the LOV).
  3. Press Tab or Save the case. The Report Type will change to null and the event will successfully save.
  4. Check LAM Audit Log for that event and it will show the user changed the value to null.

Changes

This happens only when editing an existing LAM case, not when creating a new case.
