Add Activity Results In "Policy Has Been Modified By Another User." Error Message (Doc ID 3013513.1)

Symptoms

DESCRIPTION OF ISSUE

After upgrading from OIPA 11.1 to OIPA 11.3, using the Add Activity button to add a policy-level activity results in the following error message:

"Policy has been modified by another user. Your operation was not completed" and the activity cannot be added successfully.

EXPECTED: Using the Add Activity button to add a policy-level activity should result in the policy-level activity being added.


STEPS TO REPRODUCE:

1. Enter policy number in the 'Policy Search' Screen
2. In the Policy screen, Click on 'Activities' to display the Activity screen
3. Click on the 'Add Activity' button and select the 'Reissue' activity in the 'Select Activity' drop down
4. Select 'Update' in the 'Choose an Action' drop down
5. Update one or more of the fields when prompted
6. Click on OK
The "Policy has been modified by another user. Your operation was not completed" message is displayed and the only option is to Cancel the activity.
