EBS-PS: Launch PS Plan Concurrent Request Extracts Items That Don't Have Routing Operations Associated With It. (Doc ID 3015154.1)

Symptoms

Launch PS Plan concurrent request extracts items that are not part of any routing operations but are part of a resource group that has routing operations defined and those items are planned in production scheduler based on supply/demand.

Steps:

  1. Switch to manufacturing and distribution manager responsibility. Navigate to Master Items, create multiple items (Item A, Item B and Item C) and add them to the same category.
  2. Navigate to Bill of Materials>Routing. Create Routing for Item A and Item B.
  3. Navigate to BOM and create BOM for Item A and Item B.
  4. Navigate to Discrete Jobs and create work orders for Item A and item B.
  5. Switch to Advanced Planning Administrator and run collections.
  6. Switch to Production Scheduler Responsibility. Navigate to PS>Launch and launch PS Plan.
  7. Navigate to PS workbench and open PS plan.
  8. Review PS model and observe all 3 items Item A, Item B and Item C
