Oracle Insurance Policy Administration J2EE - Version 11.3.1.28 and laterInformation in this document applies to any platform.
Symptoms
On : 11.3.1.28 version, Client Activity
ACTUAL BEHAVIOR
---------------
Following the deployment of Patch 36001406: 11.3.1.28, users have encountered a new behavior whereby a 'null' is appended to a Field's display label
after an Activity is saved with the Action/Event and the user re-opens the save Activity to trigger the ACTIONTYPE=ERROR validation again.
EXPECTED BEHAVIOR
-----------------------
The Activity Field display label does not have 'null' appended to it.
STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Create a New Transaction ( Client/Policy level),
2. Navigate to a Client/Policy and add this Activity leaving the Fields blank.
3. Re-Open the saved Activity to modify the Fields.
4. Add any valid string to the 'Test Field' and click off of it.
5. The system reports the following message 'All Fields Should Not Be Disabled' however a 'null' is appended to the Effective Date Field.
