Network Areas Number Inventory Search Window (w_nbrinv_assignquery) Returns No Rows Even Though Data Exists - "No rows were found matching search criteria." (Doc ID 3021313.1)

Symptoms

When attempting to associate an IP address to a Network Area's associated Network Element/Component, a "No rows were found matching search criteria." message is received in the Number Inventory Search window (w_nbrinv_assignquery) even though data does exist.


Recreation Steps

1. Application Setup.

2. Inventory Management Setup.

3. Network Areas.

4. Search for and open desired Network Area (Network Area Type = IP - {VALUE})

5. Click the Network Items tab.

6. Expand and select the element under "Network Elements/Network Components in a Network System" as depicted below.

7. Select the IP Address Inventory tab on the right.

8. Right-click on Subnets and select "Associate..." to open the Number Inventory Search window (w_nbrinv_assignquery).


9. Click "Search" and note the "No rows were found matching search criteria." message displayed even though data exists.


 

Changes

Installed or upgraded to MetaSolv Solution version 6.3.1.643+.
