CDRs On Accounts With Group Sharing Monitor Fails With System Error (Doc ID 3022772.1)

Symptoms

On Oracle Communications BRM - Elastic Charging Engine (ECE) version 12.0.0.8, charge sharing groups enables a customer to sponsor the charges of other accounts or services in the system.

There is a known issue when processing Call Data Records (CDR) on an account that has an active sharing group monitor.

Charge sharing groups enables a company to pay for all of its employees' GSM telephony services, or a parent to pay for the child's SMS and email services.

When a member incurs charges sponsored by the owner, the charges are applied to the owner's balance group first. Any charges that remain afterward impact the member's balance group.
