Entry Fields After Processing Change Beneficiary Roles Displaying Inaccurate Data (Doc ID 3036639.1)

Last updated on AUGUST 02, 2024

Applies to:

Oracle Insurance Policy Administration J2EE - Version 11.3.0.34 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

On : 11.3.0.34 version, Client Activity

ACTUAL BEHAVIOR
---------------
The Entry Fields after Change Beneficiary Roles is processed does not display the last section correctly at all times.
It acts like it must show Existing Primary & Existing Successor each time and sometimes Existing Successor should be the New Beneficiary instead.
When the user adds a New section of Final Beneficiary (MultiFields-ChangeBeneficiaryRoles) and add the sections in this order – Primary, Successor, Final and New.
Then the New section does not display.

Role Transaction is processing on any Policy, the actual New Beneficiary that was input is showing with Final Beneficiary heading.
The Final Beneficiary is only allowed on FFSO, so when this was found in Production on a Policy with Change Beneficiary Roles it was concerning.

The business has switched the sections in DTD to have the following order - Primary, Successor, New and Final.
However, when the user inputs a Change Beneficiary Roles on FFSO, it does not display correctly.

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR
-----------------------
The Entry Fields after running Change Beneficiary to show what was actually input.
Ex: If there is an Existing Primary Beneficiary – show the section.
If there is a Successor Beneficiary – show the section.
If there is a Final Beneficiary – show the section.
If there is a New Beneficiary is input – show the section.
