Global Cache Version In ECE Didnt Update On Product Sync (Doc ID 3037481.1)

Goal

Qn1: Received the following error when testing voice and data usage after Elastic Charging Engine (ECE) system came back in healthy running state from a network outage along with NFS server not being reachable:

The global cache version matched the ChargeOffer version being searched for the specific voice/data traffic, whereas the version mentioned in the cache was higher than being searched due to which the usage was failing.
It was able to make data and voice usages after manually updated the global cache version to the highest charge offer version.

When and how this global cache version is updated?  What can be done to mitigate the outage in the reported scenario?


Qn2: What is the possible cause of the cache loss and the solution to avoid this issue?
