Symptoms
On 8.1.2 Not able to check the checkbox option present for Requited in Attribute screen as it is currently disabled for 8.1.2 wherein it was present in the earlier versions.
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
Navigate to Common Object Maintenance -> Dimension Management -> Attributes
Select Dimension = 'Product' from drop down list
Click Add button
==> Find Required Attribute Yes / No is greyed out
